Fees are set annually according to the recommendation of the Australian College of Theology.

Students are expected to pay their tuition fees at the point of enrolment. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, credit card or by FEE-HELP.

Most Australian students qualify for FEE-HELP (the Australian government student loan scheme to cover tuition fees). Repayments only commence after your individual annual income exceeds a certain level (this is $43,151 in the 2009-2010 income tax year). Some students express a moral objection to accepting a government loan when they know they may never repay it. Both the previous Coalition and the current Labor Commonwealth governments have assured us that they fully intended that the community benefits from retired, unemployed and disabled people undertaking studies would outweigh the loss of revenue because these people would never be able to repay the loans. This was factored into the original costings. It should also be noted that the loan is extinguished on the death of the person and does not form part of his or her estate. We would urge all who can benefit from this scheme to use it.
